I got a call from 0051442033895612, saying it was HMRC and there was some sort of case against me. They gave options like pressing 1 or 2 for info, then mentioned something about Jet or Jetc, not too sure. I just hung up after that. Sounded really dodgy to me.

Absolute charlatans, steer clear of them! They pretended to be calling from Microsoft, and when I suggested it sounded dodgy, they began hurling abuse at me. I hung up without a moment’s hesitation and promptly blocked that number.

I had some dodgy callers pretending they’re tech support from Microsoft, trying to get into my computer remotely. Don’t fall for it, just block those numbers straight away!

Honestly, it’s a total scam. From what I gather, it’s that same dodgy call centre that’s been behind all those PPI, life insurance, Microsoft, and even Talk Talk fraud calls. No surprises there.

When I pick up the call, I generally utter a quick hello twice before deciding to end the conversation. The person on the other end didn’t bother to say a word, so I figured it was best to just disconnect. Since it was on my landline, I decided to dial 1471 afterwards and discover the number.

I've just ended a call with this number, and the chap on the other end claimed to represent the NHS, Lancashire County Council, as well as the Ministry of Justice! They dragged the conversation on for quite some time, and when the bloke figured out he wasn't going to achieve anything, he resorted to hurling a barrage of foul language. Quite the farce, really!

Cheers for the responses, but they didn't provide any answers and left no voicemail either.

Picked up and all was quiet, then a guy with an Indian or Asian accent started speaking, his English was really rough. He said he was from the local council but never gave his name. When I asked for a number I could ring back, he just told me to eff off, called me a mother effer or something like that. Definitely a scam, be careful.

I picked up the phone, but there was complete silence on the other end.

I received a call from someone with an accent that seemed to suggest Asian origins. They did not provide their name and began by saying they were calling regarding an accident I supposedly had.

Today, I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent claiming to represent Cambridgeshire County Council. He was supposedly investigating the local performance of the NHS and insisted on discussing 'an accident I had within the past two years'. While I do reside in Cambridgeshire, I can assure you I haven't experienced any such incident. I firmly told him it sounded like a scam and accused him of being dishonest. I requested that my number be taken off whatever dubious list he was working from, to which he promptly ended the call. I must admit, I’m quite dissatisfied, particularly as I had a similar, rather aggressive call just last week from a slightly different number.

I missed a call from this number earlier today as I was out and about. After checking out some of the reviews, I'm grateful for the heads-up. Cheers for the info!
