The number showed up as ‘out of area’ on my phone, but the story is pretty much the same as others. The bloke never actually said where he was calling from and eventually gave up on chasing me. He spent ages trying to sweet talk me. I’d just finished a 10km run, so when he started going on about how aches at 42 means arthritis, I called him a plonker. We decided to end the chat there. Bit risky really, he was quite smooth and flattering.

Today, an older family member got a call from a man pushing creams and pills. She told him to stop calling as she didn't want any more. I grabbed the phone and asked who he was; he claimed he had her banking info because she'd supposedly bought items and owed £90. I warned him taking money like that would be illegal and we'd report him to the cops. He started shouting and being rude. Later, he phoned again demanding the payment. She's 85 and has dementia. Absolutely awful behaviour!

Got a call earlier today from a person claiming to be with Green Shield Wellbeing Clinic, asking loads of questions about my health. After about ten minutes, they tried to sell me some tablets at a supposed discount. I said no and ended the call. I then contacted my GP immediately to report it, gave them the number and details. They told me they’d never heard of that clinic and thanked me for letting them know.

Got a ring from someone pretending to be JOHN DA SILVA from GREEN SHIELD WELLNESS on that number, saying he was from my doctor’s office. He gave me a number, 02081231616, to call and order some tablets. He was pushing these so-called GREEN ZINC pills at a bargain price, but I said I’d check with my GP before buying. He ended the call but rang back straightaway saying the line had dropped. I told him I wasn’t interested so he put the phone down again.

My father in law was actually writing down the address for these scammers when I caught him. It was pretty much the same story as what's mentioned above - they offered him these "incredible" tablets for just £15 instead of the usual £30. They said they got his info from some so-called "authorised data seller." Just a heads up to everyone, make sure your details haven't been passed on to other dodgy people as well!

So, today I got a call from a guy who said his name was Jim Stevenson, but he definitely didn’t sound local - his accent was quite foreign. At first, it sounded alright, but then I caught on that he was gearing up to ask for my bank info. I told him straight up not to call me anymore and to remove me from whatever list they had. Before hanging up, he dropped a number on me: 02081231616, and also gave a licence number, something like 09493410.

Today my 85 year old mum got a phone call from some bloke saying he was her new health care worker because of her age. He sounded like he knew loads about her medical stuff and was really good at pretending. He said his name was Jim Stevens and he was from Green Shield Wellbeing Centre, but he had a strange foreign accent. It’s just awful how they target old and vulnerable people like this.

Got a call the other day, the bloke wanted me by name and said he was calling from some Health Centre. I asked him which one, and he just told me not to get all flustered. I didn’t bother with it and hung up straight away.

Got calls from this firm multiple times today. They had no clue about my name or how old I am. Luckily, my oldest daughter answered one call and told them to stop calling me. After that, the woman on the line got rude and just hung up. This was their third time trying to reach me. Just a warning to everyone out there.

My mum, who’s 90 and not very well, was given a bag of green Pom pills. When I asked her where they came from, she said she felt pressured into getting them. These tablets were really expensive, and she can’t really afford that. You pushed her into buying something without even knowing her health problems, which could’ve seriously harmed her delicate condition. It’s disgusting to target elderly people like that. I demand a full refund, or I won’t hesitate to contact the police and trading standards.

This bloke said he was Jack Mason from Green Shield Health Care and was trying to chat with my mum about "taking her credit card info off their records". He said he spoke to her just yesterday. I told him he’s got the wrong person and ended the call. He rang a few more times in quick succession, but I just let it go to voicemail. Honestly, phone companies should seriously sort this out and let folks who might be vulnerable only get calls from numbers they trust.

Just got a call from a blocked number again, those cheeky lot! They claimed to be from Green Shield Health Care, then started calling themselves Green Shield Wellness. When I asked them to take me off their list, they refused, insisting my number was stored in their company database or something. Got a call from this number earlier today, and they actually asked for me by my name. We’re on the TPS list, so I was pretty surprised. The person said they were from Neutrogena healthcare, but sounded like it was some overseas call centre. Got a call from this number earlier tonight. The lady on the other end was quite mumbley, saying something about a company but it wasn’t clear. When I asked her to say it again, she mentioned some natural health clinic. Denzil Rocha, who runs the Senior Citizens Wellness Centre at Nordiane, 79 Eventer House in Harrow, was trying to get hold of a Mr Edwards. Despite being informed that this phone number had been changed over three years ago, he didn’t seem to care that we’d registered with the preference service. I’m a caregiver for an older woman and this morning we got a call from someone named Derek Hane using this number. My client was struggling to end the call, so she passed the phone over to me.
