I had a very similar experience! I received a call labelled "London" despite being all the way over here in New Zealand. I chose not to answer, as I had a strong feeling it was a dodgy scheme. Cheerio! :)

I received a call from a woman today, and the caller ID indicated it was from London, despite me being in New Zealand. She garbled a name of some place that was tough to make out, claiming it was a spot where dreams come true. Poor thing sounded really anxious. When I asked her if she was actually calling from New Zealand, she stuttered and finally confirmed it. Then she wanted my name, date of birth, email, and address, saying I could receive a complimentary $150. It gave off a very strong vibe of being from India. I did a bit of digging into the number, but there wasn’t much information available, so I thought I’d share this little nugget. Hopefully, it serves someone in some way!
