This morning around half eleven, I got a phone call from someone with an Asian accent asking for my husband by his name to ask some questions. I told them they’d got the wrong number because we work as funeral directors. They quickly apologised and ended the call.

Just like what others have said, this number called me and a bloke started asking me five questions, saying it was to 'take my number off their list'. I told him I was a bit tied up but asked if he could just remove it regardless. Then he said, “GET LOST!” and slammed the phone down. It's mad how the phone keeps buzzing with these cold callers, and when you pick up you get treated so disrespectfully. Honestly, it’s harassment and has to end.

Heads up, folks! They want to get you annoyed so you call them back to moan... then you get stuck on the line and end up paying through the nose with those rip-off premium charges. Better to warn your mates and family about this scam!

Got a call from this number just now. I told the bloke I wasn’t interested, but he just kept banging on about some local survey. When I asked where he was ringing from, he said somewhere in South East Asia. Then I asked how he got my number and he claimed he's got all my details, like my name, address, and postcode. I wasn’t having it and asked to speak to his supervisor. He put the supervisor on, so I asked for his name and how they got my number. Then out of nowhere, the bloke started shouting all sorts of swear words at me. I wasn’t going to let that slide, so I told him straight up I’d come after him and mess him up proper before telling him off even more. After that, he went totally silent and that’s when I hung up. Seriously, who the hell are these people and why are they pestering us like this? Is there any way to stop these calls without having to change our phone numbers? I mean, they’re clearly abusive - there has to be some way to turn the tables!

I keep getting calls from this number pretty much all day, but whenever I pick up there's just silence and some sort of background chatter like a call centre. It's really annoying because it's tricky to hang up quickly and I struggle to get my line free again. Can someone please make it stop?

Buzz, buzz, buzz, non stop all day long. I don’t pick up the phone until after 8pm, that way I don’t have to shout at whoever’s on the other end to make them leave me alone. Let ‘em keep ringing. Remember, it’s totally up to you if you answer or not. You’re the one in charge here. I bet those telemarketers get so annoyed waiting for you to answer, only to be ignored. That must drive them nuts, lol!

This number keeps calling non stop, sounds like it's from India or somewhere like that. I'm getting fed up and telling them off in a proper rude way, hoping they'll get angry and blab about where they actually are or who they really work for. Then I might be able to track down some boss and give 'em a piece of my mind!

The young woman called and asked straight for me by name. I told her I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, and she quickly said sorry.

I got called three times back-to-back by a really rude bloke from India, and he was swearing at me like mad. Honestly, I can’t even repeat the things he shouted at me here. Proper disgusting behaviour!

i was laying in bed, back hurting loads, and had to drag myself to the phone. just when i answered, the person on the other end just cut off without a word. normally, i wouldn't bother getting up but i thought maybe it was someone i was waiting for. i get loads of these calls all the time now and honestly, it's driving me mad!

I get calls every single day from them, always asking for some person who doesn’t live here. They keep asking for my details like my name and where I live, threatening that if I don’t answer their questions I won’t get taken off their list. Since I won’t play along, they just keep ringing nonstop and a lot of times they’re quite nasty on the phone. I keep telling them it’s harassment, honestly, it feels like it should be against the law.

Someone rang up saying they were from some company called Lifestyle, doing a survey. I said no thanks to the survey, but they wouldn’t remove us from their call list. Proper annoying!
