They rang me up about some virus on my computer. Told them I wasn’t interested and to stop calling. Despite that, they had the cheek to call back 5 more times in just 7 minutes and then just hung up each time. Proper annoying!

Got one of those calls again today - some lot saying my computer had junk files that needed sorting out. They kept going on about how it wasn’t a scam, but honestly, I told them they were dreaming if they thought I’d be conned that easily. Been around the block enough times to know better. Yet, they keep ringing me up! I’m thinking of keeping my old police whistle handy next time to give them a proper scare.

Just like others have said, it was completely quiet at first then I heard a beep and a woman’s voice say ‘goodbye’. Probably one of those typical fake Microsoft scams.

Could hear a lot of chatter behind them. They claimed to be from my computer’s support team. I told them to hold on while I “checked for a specialist” and got on with what I was doing. They hung around on the line for a good 20 minutes. Occasionally, I’d answer and say something like “sorry, still trying to get hold of the technician, please bear with me.” They didn’t hang up. Fingers crossed they don’t ring again!

This number has been ringing me loads this week with an Asian woman and man saying there's an issue with my computer. I've told them plenty of times to stop calling, but they keep at it. Just a bit ago it rang again and I cut them off saying my PC is fine before they could start. Weirdly, they hung up straight away after that.

So this guy called me, speaking with a clear Asian accent, claiming he was from some computer support team and that my new laptop was showing error messages. I'm no tech whiz or anything, but I got a bad feeling straight away - felt like a scam to get access to my computer. I stayed calm and told him I was sure he was a genuine person, but if there was any issue, I’d just contact the shop I got it from since it’s still under warranty. After that, he just ended the call.

They claim to be from some Windows support centre, but you can always tell by the strong accent, either from the Far East or America. Plus, there's loads of background chatter which makes it sound pretty dodgy.

I got loads of calls from this guy, so finally I decided to switch on my laptop and went off to get a cuppa. When I got back he was still talking and wanted me to try another step, so I just said alright and had a quick smoke. He kept going on about how slow it was, and I told him, "Yeah, my computer’s all the way across the house from where I’m on the phone!" Next thing, he just hung up!

Got a call from an Indian guy claiming to be from Windows, probably meant Microsoft. He wanted me to switch on my PC. Instantly knew it was a scam, no way I was falling for that! I threw some questions at him, including “Do you really think I’m that daft?” He had a laugh and said yes. Then I cheekily asked if he'd like my card info, and he said yeah, that'd help. Bloody scammers need to find real jobs instead of trying to con people. Don’t be fooled by this rubbish!!!
