I got a call from a woman trying to sell some skin cream or something. She was speaking English but really bad, hard to understand. Sounded like one of those telemarketing calls that just waste your time. Not sure if the product is even real, felt like a scam honestly. I just hung up quick.

This number always brings me a bit of amusement! An Italian woman keeps calling, pushing Italian groceries. They've got this number linked to the previous owner at my workplace, not me, so I quickly spot it as a sales call when they enquire about him. I've even created a funny story about owning a Michelin-starred eatery, and as the Front of House, I’m always struggling to find the guy they want because he’s supposedly tied up cooking in the kitchen.

I got a call from this number around 2.40 in the afternoon. Letting the answerphone pick up did the trick. The person on the other end just hung up. If you want to annoy them, try asking what the time is or how the weather is where they are - that normally kills the conversation!

Got a call from a lady speaking Romanian who said she was enquiring about skin studies for some Swiss firm, something like Dermo or Derma. She used my full name straight away and just kept going for about a minute, barely letting me get a word in. She began asking questions about my skin, even though all I’d said was “Hello, yes that’s me.” When I finally managed to ask how she got my details, she sounded really annoyed and defensive. Wouldn't bother answering if I were you, just block the number.

Got a call earlier today from an Italian number whilst I’m in Greece. The woman on the other end’s Greek wasn’t the best and she kept asking for someone else. When I told her I wasn’t that person and tried to end the call, she said she was from Switzerland doing a skin condition survey and that I might be useful. Didn’t bother with it, just hung up straight away.

I got two calls from a foreign woman trying to give away free Italian products. She already knew our postcode and even my wife’s name. When my wife picked up the first time, the lady just kept going and wouldn’t let her get a word in before hanging up. I answered the second call and tried to question her but she dodged all my questions, so I ended the call. The numbers were first 003901721700006 and then 0390721414862. Got a call this morning, 17th April 2019 around 11:03, from an Italian number based in Savigliano, Piedmont. The woman on thephone said she was calling from Switzerland but spoke Romanian. Felt quite sus to me, like it could have been a scam.
