Watch out, it's risky! I somehow ended up signing up for an Amazon Prime free trial but cancelled just a few minutes later. I reckon someone at Amazon might've seen this and could've passed on my phone number to fraudsters. Not long after, we got two calls around 8:15 in the morning on back-to-back days about Amazon Prime. My brother picked up one call, which was an automated thing claiming to be from Amazon, asking him to press 1 to talk to an advisor. He told them he doesn’t even have Prime, and then the caller just hung up. I’m definitely going to report this to Amazon.

I got a call where a bloke said he was Oscar from Amazon, and he mentioned something about a new account being opened in my name. It honestly didn’t sound like any of those automated messages. Just as I was about to ask more, the call cut off suddenly. I’m thinking of reporting it to Action Fraud, looks dodgy enough to be phishing.

Got a call from 0037125893317 claiming they wanted to renew my Amazon Prime and charge £39.99 from my account. Totally bogus as I don’t even have Amazon Prime. Didn’t press anything, obviously. Then 01786 710797 phoned saying £600 had been spent on my Mastercard around 15 minutes ago, and I was told to press 1, 2, or 3. Just hung up both times. Both calls were from automated voices, and if it was something serious, a real person would be speaking, not a recorded message.

Just noticed £600 gone from my bank a bit ago, looks like some muppet overseas made off with it. Funny how they always stick to £600, like it’s some set amount. Might be time for those tossers to change their script or whatever they’re using. Seriously frustrating.

This same number has been ringing me for the fourth day straight, telling me my Amazon Prime subscription is going to be charged on the 30th of this month, even though February 2020 just has 29 days. The recorded voice said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel or speak to someone. It's quite annoying!

Blimey, £600 just disappeared from my account! This nonsense has been floating about for ages now. With all this inflation, you'd think that £600 would have at least bumped up a bit by now, right? Seriously, this is just mad.

Can you believe it, £600 just vanished from my bank and it’s traced back to somewhere abroad. Do those daft clowns in Latvia genuinely imagine folks are this gullible to buy the nonsense they’re throwing around? Absolute muppets, the lot of ‘em!

My phone buzzed and I picked up, saying my usual "Hello, how can I help?" Right after, an automated voice started up, claiming BT was about to cut off my internet. It then asked me to pick between two options. Since I don’t get my broadband through BT, I just ended the call. A couple hours later, the same number called again, but this time I didn’t bother with my usual greeting and the line just went silent. Feels like this bot might be listening for certain words to kick in the scam. Definitely a dodgy call - 0037125893317.

So I got a call from some muppet claiming to be Amazon saying there's a payment coming out. The best thing to do is pretend you're gonna get the person, say "I'll get him now," then just put the phone down, go about your business - make a cuppa, grab a snack, whatever. After a bit, pick up again and say, "he's just on his way," then carry on with what you were doing. Keep it up for a while and they'll get annoyed and eventually give up since they aren’t gonna scam anything if you’re just hanging about on the line.

Got a call around 9 this morning from an automated voice claiming they’d charge my bank for my Amazon Prime. Total scam, as you can imagine. Don’t even think about pressing any keys, just end the call straight away and forget about it.

Got a call from this number bright and early at around 8:30 today. The message was one of those automated ones telling me my Amazon Prime membership had expired or something like that, just like quite a few others have said here. I didn’t hang about and just ended the call right away. Watch out for this one!

I got this recorded message as soon as I picked up, saying about some £600 being sent from my bank to an overseas account related to Visa or MasterCard. Honestly, seemed really dodgy to me so I marked it as risky.

Another one of those dodgy numbers tied to that Amazon scam. Just block it, maybe log it, but whatever you do, don't pick up or reply. These scammers are just out to trick folks and it's nasty. Seriously, can't something be done about these muppets?

Just got a call on my home phone from +37125893317. The person on the line was telling me that my Amazon Prime subscription was about to renew and they'd take money from my bank. They said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel. Thing is, I don’t even use Amazon or have a Prime account, so I just hung up without saying anything. Honestly, even if I did have an account, I’d have ignored it too - sounds like a total scam!
