Got a call earlier today from this number, guy said he was from BT support and that there was something wrong with my router. He kept asking for my customer licence number and some other details. When I told him I had no idea what he was on about, he then asked me to hook up a device so he could help fix it. Didn’t trust it one bit, so I just put the phone down before he could get into my computer or anything.

This number rang me earlier today, saying they were from BT Outreach and threw out a bunch of codes that made no sense to me whatsoever. They claimed there was an issue with my internet and wanted me to hook up my computer so they could walk me through finding certain info. I quickly told them I wasn’t comfortable giving access to my device and ended the call. Since you don’t appear to have any details on who owns this number, I’m guessing it’s a scam.
