Got a couple of voicemails from this random number asking me to ring back but they never said who they were, so I just ignored it. If it’s really Apple like some folks mentioned, you'd think they'd say so straight away. I don’t have anything to do with Apple anyway.

They should really double-check the info before sending pricey stuff out. I even told them to send a text beforehand since the number seemed a bit dodgy.

Got a ring at 8 in the morning. I know it was Apple since it showed up, but I only own an iPhone that I got from o2, so not sure what they wanted from me.

Kept getting calls with the same message but they never said which company was ringing.

I've had several calls from this number, can't seem to get them to stop.

Just got a call from this number saying I had an appointment at 8am today, but I don’t even own any Apple devices! So I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

Got a voicemail ages ago, like on 16th October 2022 around 1:47pm, where it just said something like "10-15 minutes. Bye." For sure it was a robot talking, but I don’t get why they are ringing me. a) I’ve never called or asked for help from Apple Support (which loads of people reckon this number is). b) Plus, I’m not even living in Ireland??

Got a call after asking for Apple support, sounded legit but kinda odd they rang from an Irish number.

Got a call from an unknown number, didn't pick up and no voicemail was left. I’ve been in contact with a few people but asked them to just email me. When I tried calling the number back, I got a voice message saying it couldn’t connect and it ended up going through to Tesco Mobile's payments line! Definitely not Apple 😡😡 Tesco is my provider so I’m really confused about what’s going on with this payment number calling me multiple times when I tried calling it back.

It looked like it could've been from Apple but I'm not completely certain, they didnt do anything dodgy, just seemed a bit inexperienced.

Might actually be a legit call from the Apple shop, they wanted to know if I own any Apple gear. I just hung up. Proper annoying.

I’m looking into this number cos I reckon it was a dodgy call pretending to be Apple. I even saw someone on Twitter ask Apple if it was legit. I got an email from a weird looking address saying it was from Apple but the spelling and grammar was pretty poor, so I don’t think it’s real. It sounded quite convincing though. They asked for my email which felt a bit off, so I got suspicious it might be a scam. I’m gonna ring Apple myself to check if it’s genuine or not. Honestly, I don’t think it is.

On the 4th of March 2021, I received three consecutive calls to our business line over in Spain. Each time, it was crickets on the other end -- a right mystery! Whether it’s Apple or some other entity, I’m definitely not falling for any of that. Let’s put an end to this nonsense, shall we?

Got three calls in a row on our business line in Spain on March 4th, 2021. No one answered on their end, or maybe they were just too nervous? Apple or whatever, I’m not Eve, so kindly quit calling me.

I just got a call from the number 00353214269200, but when I answered there was nothing on the other end. It’s a Cork, Ireland number. I was waiting for Apple support to ring me back, but if that was them they would have said something, surely.

I received a phone call from this number, and the chap on the line claimed to represent Apple. However, he couldn't get my full name, address, or even my mobile number right - he had bits that were accurate but mixed up with incorrect ones. He mentioned that someone had apparently purchased expensive items under my name, but when I pressed him for further details, he seemed rather vague about what he specifically needed from me. I have a feeling he was trying to fish for my credit card details. I confidently told him I hadn't made any orders with Apple. He then insisted that I should reach out to my bank or credit card issuer if I hadn’t made such purchases, suggesting that someone may have used my card without my consent. Honestly, it all sounded quite dodgy, so I decided to just hang up on him.

Got a call back from 'Apple support' but it was just one of those automated robot things. Proper annoying.

I bought something from Apple earlier today and then this number gave me a ring about an hour later to double check the purchase since it was quite expensive. They never asked for any card info, so it felt genuine.

Weird experience. I never reached out to Apple for any help or customer service. I was just searching online for how to use airdrop and box drop on my iPad, and I found a post on the Apple support site. There was a section where you could like the article and say if it helped or if you had the same question. The very next day, Apple started calling me non-stop.

This number rang me right after I gave my details to Apple support, and the person on the other end was swearing at me.

Got a text saying I booked a call, but I never did. I’m using an iPhone and never requested any call. I picked up once but didn’t press anything to talk to an advisor. Definitely won’t if they’re gonna charge me for it.

Its supposedly apple support but they dont tell you that just by calling or not answering youll get charged if u ring back. Its mad!

This same number has rang us 15 times in just 20 mins. We use a call blocker on our home phone which makes people say who they are before it goes through. My other half did ring Apple last Friday about his iPad so maybe that’s why they’re ringing, but it’s strange they didn’t just say they were from Apple right away?!

Honestly, Apple is having a laugh. They send you a link but then expect you to ring them for any support. Just dropped £1,099 on a device plus £199 on Apple Care, and now they still wanna charge me for a phone call. Really let down by them.
