I don’t get why Amazon makes customers pay when they offer a callback service. Shouldn’t a big company like that cover the cost themselves? Feels pretty bad that the customer ends up footing the bill just to talk to their support. Really poor service if you ask me.

Got a call at 7:31 on a Saturday morning, but I ignored it since the number started with "00," which usually means it's from abroad. I have no clue who it could be, but judging from some earlier comments, it might be Amazon. Problem is, neither me nor my missus asked for any callback from them, so I find it odd they'd ring at that hour. Then, about a minute later, they called again using the number 0035312478198. I’ve now blocked both of these through Sky’s Talk Shield, just to be safe - wouldn’t want to fall for some scam that charges crazy fees the moment you answer.

I keep gettin calls from this number, kept ringin non stop. When I finally picked up one, the bloke goes "How's your day?" and I just snapped back sayin it’s none of his concern. The caller ID showed Dublin, Ireland. Then they started callin from a few other Irish numbers too. I’ve just blocked every one of them now.

Claiming to be from "Amazon.com," he stated that he was contacting me regarding my recent order on Amazon. However, he refused to disclose his name and seemed uninformed about my full name. Instead, he repetitively mentioned my first name while insisting on checking my account. Consequently, I opted to terminate the call. While it remains plausible that this call was genuinely from Amazon, the caller's lack of professionalism and unfamiliarity with pertinent details about me raises doubts.

I received a call at 7:30 am from someone claiming to be customer support. Since it seemed suspicious, I quickly hung up, assuming it was a scam. If they had mentioned that they were calling from Amazon customer support, I might have given them more attention. Additionally, if they had called after 10 am, I might have been willing to listen a bit longer. Maybe I should save this number as "Amazon" in my phonebook so that if they call again, I will be more open to their call.

Some bloke with a really strong Indian accent gave me a ring asking if I'd confirmed an Amazon order (which I'd already done about 30 minutes before). When you use the Amazon website to start a product return, they contact you through their helpline.
Interestingly, the helpline is located in Jamaica and I must say they were very proficient.
They sent me the return labels and eventually gave me a complete refund for the defective Bluetooth headset.
