I don’t get why Amazon makes customers pay when they offer a callback service. Shouldn’t a big company like that cover the cost themselves? Feels pretty bad that the customer ends up footing the bill just to talk to their support. Really poor service if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure it was Amazon because I had some trouble with my account and reached out for assistance. I hadn’t turned my phone on when they phoned, so they followed up by sending me an email saying they attempted to ring me. Pretty decent service if you ask me.

Got a call at 7:31 on a Saturday morning, but I ignored it since the number started with "00," which usually means it's from abroad. I have no clue who it could be, but judging from some earlier comments, it might be Amazon. Problem is, neither me nor my missus asked for any callback from them, so I find it odd they'd ring at that hour. Then, about a minute later, they called again using the number 0035312478198. I’ve now blocked both of these through Sky’s Talk Shield, just to be safe - wouldn’t want to fall for some scam that charges crazy fees the moment you answer.

I keep gettin calls from this number, kept ringin non stop. When I finally picked up one, the bloke goes "How's your day?" and I just snapped back sayin it’s none of his concern. The caller ID showed Dublin, Ireland. Then they started callin from a few other Irish numbers too. I’ve just blocked every one of them now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with "Amazon.com" about an "order I recently placed," but when I asked for their name, they wouldn’t tell me. They only used my first name and kept saying they had to check my account. It felt off so I just hung up. Maybe it was a real Amazon person, but they didn't sound very professional and clearly didn’t have much info about me.

Got a call at half past seven in the morning from someone claiming to be customer support. I figured it was probably a scam given the early hour, so I just hung up. If they’d said it was Amazon customer service, I might’ve stayed on the line a bit longer. Also, if the call had come after 10am, I’d have been more willing to listen. Maybe I should save this number in my phone as Amazon and see if they call again, then I might be a bit more patient.

Got a missed call from this number not long ago. Funny thing is, it came right after I’d emailed Amazon.fr about something that wasn’t sorted yet, so it looks like it really was them calling. Bit annoying that they rang me so early though, expecting me to talk about the problem on the spot, but I just wasn’t up for it then. Some bloke with a really strong Indian accent gave me a ring asking if I'd confirmed an Amazon order (which I'd already done about 30 minutes before). He claimed he was from Amazon India but never asked me for any other details. I decided to call Amazon UK’s Customer Service, and they told me that the call wasn’t legit - apparently they never call customers about orders. The weird thing is, the guy calling from that number already knew my Amazon info and my landline number.

I recently received a call from this number claiming to be Amazon customer support. They asked if I had bought a €115 gift card from Amazon Spain because they spotted a new account linked to my credit card, but the address didn’t match mine. They suggested I cancel my credit card, which I did straight away. Shortly after, I got an email confirming there was a suspected credit card fraud attempt, but thankfully they cancelled both the order and the account.

First, I got an email from someone who clearly didn’t understand my question properly and gave me the wrong info. After I replied to clear things up, I then got a phone message from (number) saying she worked in Amazon Customer Support. She turned out to be really helpful, explaining that another team member had misunderstood my email and laid out what would happen next in a very clear way. Honestly, that call was quite decent, and I’d say it came from a legit number.

Totally real. I called the Amazon support after starting a return on the site, and they ring you back. Seems like the team is in Jamaica or something. Honestly, they did a great job. They emailed me the return labels and sorted me out with a full refund for a dodgy bluetooth headset.
