Picked up the phone but there was loads of noise in the background. The caller claimed to be from fgsmarket[###] and was talking about investment options. I double-checked the website they mentioned and it doesn’t seem to be real (I made sure by asking them to spell it out). They did know my name though. When I asked how they got my number, they said maybe I clicked on a banner ad with cookies (which sounds very unlikely), or someone else gave them my details. I told them under GDPR rules to erase any info they have on me and to stop calling me ever again.
