Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach, telling me there’s some issue with my router and they’ve sent three or four engineers to fix it. When I asked them to take my number off their list, the bloke said he’d make sure I got disconnected from BT Openreach itself! I didn’t stick around to see what sort of scam he was running, but it was obvious it was dodgy...
