I received a call from this number, claiming to be from Microsoft, and it seemed rather dodgy-definitely a scammer on the line!

Got a call from 003102081551095, some bloke with an Indian accent claiming he worked for some firm. He asked how I was doing, so I just replied 'Go on.' Then he said something about my computer not working. I told him I'd pass that on to my husband, who’s supposedly a computer expert, and thanked him before ending the call. The funny thing is, my husband passed away some time ago and he wasn’t into computers at all.

This number popped up and I tried a couple of things. First, I kept asking "why?" after every question they threw at me. Then, I mentioned I work as a computer engineer. It’s a bit of a game I play to see what they say next.

This number has rung us more than once, but each time we've just hung up straight away. It feels like they’re going after the elderly, which really ought to be blocked. Luckily, our phone shows who's calling, so if they keep trying, we simply won’t pick up. Fingers crossed they’ll quit bothering us sooner or later.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, saying she was from Microsoft Tech Support. Claimed there were errors on my computer and wanted me to enter a code to fix it. I told her straight away I knew it was a scam and she went abusive, same as others I’ve had calls from like that. I told her again to remove my number from their list. She just snapped back with “Yeah, whatever” and ended the call.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He told me our service key was faulty and he would lock my computer remotely. He then tried to explain how to fix it but said I’d have to give him my credit card first. When I told him I use a Mac and found the whole thing suspicious, he just hung up. Definitely dodgy and I’m planning to report it to the police. Total scam!

Got a call from an Asian guy, sounded like a typical scam attempt. When I said I knew what it was, he got all defensive and rude. Seems like these scammers aim for older folks since they think they won’t be as good with tech. Honestly, if Microsoft really had a problem, they’d just sort it out with an update, no need for phone calls like this. Don’t fall for it!

Just like others have said, some guy from India called saying he was from Microsoft and found a major issue on my computer. The weird bit is I don't own a computer right now!! Total scam, I told him to get lost straight away. These calls are getting earlier and earlier each day, really annoying. Fingers crossed they stop soon.

I got three calls within half an hour from a bloke calling himself Kevin Morris, saying he was from 'Microsoft' and needed to fix our computer. Even after we said no and made it clear we weren’t interested, he started threatening to disconnect our server. By the third call, we told him we thought it was a scam and asked for proof of his Microsoft employment plus a contact number we could verify, but he just ignored us and kept threatening to cut off the server. We had to act fast after that. Total con, do not trust calls like this!

Had a call with loads of noise in the background, and some Indian guy said there was an issue with my Windows laptop. I’ve had similar scam calls before and I know the drill. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away on these lot.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from an official Microsoft support team. They had me open event viewer to point out some supposed errors, then asked me to log into [#iteamview(###]. That made me suspicious since team viewer lets them control my computer from afar. I figured it was a scam and ended the call. They rang back a second time, and I told them off. Looking back, I realised how nearly I got conned! Watch out, folks.

I told them I don’t use Microsoft software, and then they asked who else in my house had a computer. I ended the call pretty sharpish. Got a call from a busy call centre, loads of Asian accents in the background. They said my computer had some major issues and kept checking if I was sat at the computer. I asked who they were and how they knew about the problem, and they said they’re security for the main server. I ended the call before anything else.
