Just a heads up, the number started with +252 which is Somalia’s code. I got a call on my mobile from it and reckon it could be one of those expensive ones if you call back. Be careful with those prefixes!

Just like the others here, it rings a few times then just stops. Been getting calls from this number and some others like it on and off for the past few days.

Last week i got calls from 7 different numbers and i reported each one to vodafone by texting 7726. Then, yesturday, vodafone replied with this message, but today i actually got a call from that very number. It said: important info: according to our records, a number you dialled recently is linked to some scam activity overseas. dont worry, we’ve acted quickly to stop you and other users from falling victim. also, we’ve credited back any fees you were charged for ringing that number.

Just like a lot of others here, I got a few calls that were just dropped real quick. Then last week, a number almost the same but with a 3 at the end instead of a 1 rang me. I decided not to pick up tho.

I’ve had this number ring me on a few occasions but I never pick up. I heard somewhere that if you do answer, you might get charged £50! I’m hoping that’s just a rumour because I actually answered a couple of times before I found out about that. Fingers crossed it’s not true!
