This looks like a typical Wangiri scam and really needs to be reported to the police. Check out the post on this site near the hotspot map for details. Use the Action Fraud link to report it, choose the phishing option when you do so. We should be reporting all these scam calls, otherwise there’s no hope of stopping them. Unfortunately, most people don’t bother to report these calls, which is why the police can’t track how widespread or serious these scams really are. Without those reports, nothing gets done to tackle the problem.
