Got a ring from this number earlier, some woman claiming she was with Microsoft and there was something wrong with my PC. I told her I don't even own a computer, and she went on saying I’m not a tech expert, but she is! Made me laugh right away.

I saw it was from abroad so I didn’t pick up. Let it ring and go to voicemail, but the caller hung up before saying anything.

Like many ppl have said already, this is just another scam call. Best to just hang up and not bother with it.

I keep getting calls from someone claiming to be BT Open Reach, saying my internet runs on an old setup and they need a code to upgrade it. Feels like a scam and they ring quite often. Proper annoying.

My wife got a call from a bloke with an English accent saying something about our internet. Right from the start, she got a weird feeling when he went all polite with "how are you today ma'am." She just hung up straight away.

I’ve had this number ring me up a couple of times already. Pretty sure it’s some kind of scam. Also, heads up - if you call back, you might end up getting charged cause the area code looks dodgy for that kind of thing. Best not to bother ringing them back at all.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Plusnet about some changes to my internet service. They wanted info about my router and how many lights were on it. I told them I didn’t think it was really Plusnet as my broadband’s working fine and then I just ended the call. Honestly, it felt like a scam, so watch out for this kind of thing.

Just got a call and they hung up straight away. Definitely scammers, watch out!

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, asking about my router and mentioning a channel number that was totally wrong. They wanted info so they could "change the channel" or something, and even asked how many LEDs were lit on my device. I just told them to drop me an email and I'd get back to them. They said thanks and then cut off. Watch out for these types!

Just got a call from some dodgy bloke abroad who reckons there’s a problem with my internet and wants my info so he can send some fake engineer round. Seriously, don’t fall for it and don’t give ‘em anything!

Got a call from +2392161043, sounded African, said they were from BT. I told them "Someone from BT rang me just yesterday," and then the line just went dead. Weird experience.
