I barely got to hear the phone ring before they cut off. I ended up blocking the number and flagged it as a scam. Reading through these comments just proves my suspicion.

I've received calls from this number on two occasions-once yesterday and again today. Curiously, the phone only rang once each time, leading me to believe that the caller was just looking for me to return the call. It wouldn't have cost them a penny to leave a voicemail message! I'm beginning to think this might be some sort of scam.

I have no clue who was calling me, but seeing other people's experiences I'm really happy I avoided answering. Seems like if you ring them back, they hit you with some kind of scam fee. Pretty dodgy stuff.

I've gotten calls from this number two times now, once yesterday and again today. They just let it ring a couple times then cut off. I'm with Virgin, which runs on EE's network. Has anyone else with EE had this happen? Best not to pick up.

Got two calls on my cell, one with the last digits 34 and the other ending in 81. Both times, the display showed Sierra Leone, so I just ignored them. I've blocked those numbers now and will keep blocking if they ring again.

Just got a call from Africa, only rang once and hung up. Looks like one of those scam calls, so be careful and don’t return the call!
