This number has been ringing me repeatedly this morning-four times, to be precise! Quite impolite, if you ask me. I don’t happen to have a computer; just my trusty iPads. Each time they called, I simply hung up, but I'm utterly clueless on how to get these calls to cease.

Why on earth can’t we implement an outright prohibition on these pesky numbers from those daft phone pests? It’s absolutely baffling that such a straightforward solution seems out of reach!

I've been getting incessant calls from this number, and all I hear is a rather abrupt farewell. Does anyone know how I can block it?

I keep getting calls every couple of days from someone asking about my PC. Feels like one of those scams trying to get me to turn it on or something. Another annoying one for sure!

I too encountered that 'Tracy' character, who went on about how my WINDOWS machine had been compromised, droning on about sending them reports. I had to inform them that I'm actually using a Mac!

I received a call from this number, and when I answered, the chap on the other end inquired if he could speak with me directly, although I informed him that it was my father who primarily used the device. Suddenly, the line fell silent, prompting me to hang up the phone. Almost immediately, he rang back, probing about my age and then bizarrely requested my phone number and WhatsApp details. Upon declining, his mood shifted dramatically, and he became quite irate! I attempted to ask him for the name of his superior, but he promptly cut the call. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

I received a rather curious phone call from an individual who had what I could only describe as a foreign accent, perhaps Indian or something akin. She introduced herself as Tracy, which I found a tad amusing. Apparently, she claimed to be representing UTC or something of that nature. The crux of her message was that my computer was allegedly transmitting signals indicating it was being hacked, and she was keen to guide me through the steps to rectify this supposed issue. I let her ramble on for a bit, but ultimately decided to end the conversation by hanging up. To my surprise, she attempted to ring me back a staggering six or seven times! Quite a persistent one, I must say!

I received a call from some bloke claiming he needed to perform maintenance on my computer. Naturally, I let him waffle on for a bit until I pointed out that I don't even own a computer. When I pressed him on how he'd obtained my phone number, he insisted it was linked to a purchase I supposedly made. I told him that was impossible, as I’ve never owned one, so I asked him again how he got my details. He stumbled and eventually suggested that I must have called him. I adamantly replied that I hadn’t and reiterated my question. At this point, he abruptly hung up on me. Quite the amusing encounter!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Technical Team at Microsoft, who asked me to confirm my computer's serial number. When she suggested that I should download a program to 'fix' my PC, I flat-out declined. Then she passed me to her manager, who had the audacity to call me immature, saying he needed to provide for his family and even resorted to calling me a complete moron.

I received a call where I suspect the caller was after remote access to my computer. I played along until I got to the point of providing my details, at which stage I made it clear that I was aware of their true intentions. The person on the other end got quite irate and ultimately cut the call. This has happened to me at least five times now. I’ve now blocked the number.

I received a call from this number, claiming to be from my 'technical support team' and attempting to pull off a computer scam.

Received a call where the person addressed me by my first name. When I inquired about his identity, he claimed his name was David. However, upon further questioning, he mentioned something about being with the police before abruptly ending the call. Interestingly, the same number tried to get in touch with me yesterday, but I chose not to pick up.

I received a rather concerning phone call earlier, claiming there was an issue with my computer. The chap on the other end rattled off my supposed licence number and even had my address to hand. He then insisted that I enter a bunch of commands to furnish him with the information he needed. Rather suspiciously, the licence number he provided wasn’t mine at all. When I refused to comply with his requests for more details, he seemed quite irked and abruptly terminated the call. Quite the dodgy encounter, if you ask me!
