Got a call today from a person telling me I’ve got an arrest warrant out for me because supposedly I haven’t paid taxes for the last decade. They warned me I’d be arrested soon and that my bank accounts would get frozen unless I ring the number they gave me. Classic scam stuff.

Sounds like it could be scammers to me.

Got a voicemail on my home phone, saying my personal and bank details are being used in some crime. They told me to get in touch with the closest Microsoft shop or ring another number they gave to sort it out... total scam, stay clear!

Got a call from a recorded voice, sounded American, warning me that BT was about to cut off my internet.
