Some bloke rang me up sayin he was from BT, said he needed to get into my PC and internet to fix some problems and viruses that supposedly were on my line. His English was awful, all over the place. For anyone who doesn’t know better, it could sound legit. Just a massive waste of time, total rubbish!!

Received a call from this number earlier. An Indian man picked up but just hung up right away. Took a while for my phone to clear so I could do a 1471 check. The phone’s brand new, haven’t shared the number with anyone or called anyone unfamiliar. Yet since the second day, I've been getting weird calls about PPI claims, accidents, and even one from someone in Guernsey pretending to be BT - again with an Indian accent! Seems like every call I actually pick up has someone speaking with an Indian accent. What’s the deal here?
