Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft support, telling me my computer was infected with a virus. They offered to fix it but then asked to get remote access to my laptop. Definitely steer well clear of these guys!

Today, I received a phone call from this number. Upon answering, a male voice with a foreign accent claimed that my computer was "compromised." When I inquired about the name of his company, he initially declared it was “Quick Support,” only to swiftly rebrand it as “Quick Solution.” I feigned interest before ending the call. Just moments later, the same number rang again, and this time the chap sounded rather aggressive, clearly irked that I hadn't given him my attention. I firmly told him to cease all further calls and to disappear. He promptly ended the call. Please, heed my warning-do not act on anything suggested during these dubious calls; it’s clearly all a ruse!

Dodgy lot, these callers. One with an Asian twang rang me up claiming my computer was under attack and that they could assist in tracing the culprit - something along the lines of, "Would you kindly power up your computer, madam?" I quickly retorted that mine was already switched on. Then I added, "You'd be wise to hang up, as I'm about to notify the authorities about your little scam operation - cheerio!" They must reckon we're daft if they think this will work. I shall certainly be fuming if they try ringing again.

I dialled my former partner's unlisted home number, and as soon as I heard a voice, they hung up without uttering a word. Quite bewildering, really.

I noticed an Indian accent on the line. There was a brief silence right after I picked up, which is a classic sign of those pesky auto-diallers. The chap on the other end tried to convince me that my computer was in dire need of protection as they were "monitoring my IP address." It was blatantly obvious that this was nothing but a scam. I told him to take a hike, and wouldn’t you know it, he responded by claiming he was having a fling with my mother and sister! How peculiar it is that if someone was pull such nonsense on the street, they'd be carted off for attempted fraud. So why are these crooks allowed to carry on their antics?

I’ve been getting calls from this number two or three times each day. Typically, I just hang up, but today I engaged with them only to hear they claimed my computer was compromised. Firstly, how on earth did they acquire my phone number? Secondly, what gives them the right to assert that my computer is somehow infected? It's clearly a con, and despite having reported it on numerous occasions, the calls seem relentless!

Perhaps they're trying to catch unsuspecting individuals off guard. I was waiting for a call from some pals, so I picked up the phone all lively and enthusiastic. But, to my surprise, they disconnected in a flash!

I received a call on my landline from someone claiming that my computer had been compromised. I'm baffled as to how they managed to obtain my home phone number, not to mention how they could possibly know about my computer's status. It all felt very dodgy, so I promptly hung up the call.
