Starting from about 10am on Wednesday the 15th of January 2014, I kept getting annoying calls on my mobile. They kept coming every 30 minutes until around 8pm, then they began again the next day, the 16th, at 10 in the morning. Whenever I tried ringing back, the line would just drop dead. It’s really frustrating and careless behaviour. I bought my phone a couple of years ago from Carphone Warehouse.

It’s crazy how people have nothing better to do than bother others these days. Can you believe we actually managed without mobiles back in the day? Haha!

This number has called me like 19 times today! I picked up a couple of times and just yelled into the phone, then it was just my voice echoing back after a brief pause! Using my Galaxy S3, I added the number to the block list. Since then, they haven’t called me again.

This company pushes their male enhancement stuff all across the web. If you’ve given them your number - even if only by showing some interest - they’ll ring you up claiming you wanted their product. Then, they say they've got a way better version, like ten times stronger, and they’re willing to send it for free. But here’s the catch: they ask you to cover a small shipping charge so they can send it out. Once they’ve got your info, they’ll confirm everything with you again before warning you that after 16 days, if you’re happy with it, they’ll debit your card the full price and keep billing you monthly. Sounds dodgy to me. Also, the calls come from Alexandria, Egypt, and they’ll knock on your phone even if you only casually clicked on something on Facebook and never actually bought anything.

My mum and I both got calls from this number and honestly, best advice is just don’t answer if it rings. Stay clear of it, people!

I’m on Three and this number has been ringing me nonstop, like 15 times every day for the past few days. I found a free app called Call Control that lets you block both calls and texts. So far, it’s doing the trick and no more disturbances.

I only began getting these calls after I foolishly ordered some “magic cream,” and now my number’s been shared with an international caller (and I get charged if I answer!). I’m with Vodafone too, and when I contacted them, they couldn’t do much except suggest I try an app called Truecaller. Didn’t help though, as by 9:30 this morning I’d already received about 3 or 4 calls, and around 20 altogether since last week. Cheers for the iPhone tip though - I’ve set it up now, hoping it does the trick!

i got tricked into buying this supposed magic cream on facebook, total rip off. feels like the company just wants us to pick up so they can make money off us. my phone bill hasn't come yet, so i’m not sure if these calls are costing me anything. best thing to do is don’t pick up, just ignore it. just another annoyed vodafone customer here.

So yeah, it's just some US-based gym supplements company ringing you up to sell their stuff. Nothing fancy. When you pick up, just say hi, pause a couple seconds so you know they're there, then tell them to buzz off with the calls. Simple as that. Job done! Hope it helps!

I made a phone contract at Carphone Warehouse, either online or in store, and like half an hour later this number +2028005536 kept ringing me up trying to push random stuff. Feels like Carphone Warehouse must be handing over our info to this dodgy company or something. Proper annoying.

They’ve called me about five times now and I finally picked up. They were pushing some products, but when I asked why someone from the US was calling me and how they got my number, they couldn’t really explain. So, I just hung up. The best thing you can do is block the number. If you’ve got an iPhone, hit the little info icon by the number, then scroll down and select ‘block this caller.’ Fingers crossed they’ll leave you alone after that! :)
