i got a call from a guy with an asian accent claiming he was from bt about my internet. i cut him off straight away and said i dont have internet where i live. he kept trying to convince me otherwise but i just said no again. in the end he just hung up on me.

Steer clear of returning the call. It's those dodgy Asian scammers posing as BT representatives, claiming there's an issue with your internet. Do make sure to block the number, and if you're able to see caller ID, simply ignore it.

Got a call saying my BT computer (whatever that means) would lose internet access in an hour. I didn’t even bother answering properly and just ended the call. Is that meant to be legit?

Got a call from overseas warning my internet would be disconnected in an hour - asked if that was alright? I just had a chuckle and hung up.
