I got a call from someone who sounded American, although I’m not too sure if he really was. He started talking about shares I don’t think I even own. When I tried to ask him more about it, he just ended the call on me.

Got a call from some guy in the US today asking about shares from a dodgy boiler room scam back in 2003. He’s probably the fifth or sixth American who’s said the shares are worth a fortune over the years. Don’t know what he’s playing at, but it doesn’t feel legit to me. I’d say be wary if this number rings you.

I got a call from some guy in the US claiming to be an agent for a company that apparently went bust, saying I supposedly have assets tied to it. Thing is, I’ve never put any money into American businesses. He actually rang me once before, but I just ignored that call.
