Phone number ☎️ 0019164617229 👆 is reported as a common scam call where an automated message says there’s been a large payment on your Visa card, usually around early morning hours. Callers urge you to press a button to confirm security, but it’s a fraud attempt. Many have noticed the amount varies and suspect it’s designed to alarm people. Genuine bank calls typically involve a real person, not machines, and customers often verify by calling the bank back on known numbers. The scam sometimes features fake accents and refuses to give a callback number. Multiple reports confirm it’s an obvious phishing attempt targeting cardholders.

6 yearsDefinitely some kind of Visa card scam going on here.6 yearsReceived a call this morning around 9:40am from a woman with an Indian accent saying I owed £500 on a visa card. I asked her for a number to ring back, and when she asked why, I told her for security reasons. The number had way too many digits anyway, so it was pretty clear it was a scam.6 yearsBit like my experience right after 9 this morning. Lately, I’ve been constantly getting these automated phone calls saying there’s a payment of £89.99 being charged to my Visa. Now they’ve upped the sum to £599, clearly trying to scare folks into reacting quickly.6 yearsGot a call around half ten this morning, just like others mentioned here. It was some robotic voice thanking me for a visa payment of £599 and telling me to press 1 for visa security. Pretty clear it was a scam, so I hung up straight away. I have had legitimate calls from my bank before about suspicious charges on my card, though. But those calls were always from a real human, never a robot. Plus, I don’t answer their questions right away; I always ring them back on the official number on my card just to make sure I'm dealing with the bank itself.6 yearsGot a text about a payment for 599 (no currency mentioned) like “thank you for your payment.” If you didn’t make that payment, they tell you to press 1 for Visa security - definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!Submit Your Own Report ((916) 461-7229)
