11 yearsRight at the start of the call, I told him no thanks and ended it straight away. No sooner had he rung back, I did exactly the same. On the third call, he actually said, "Why you keep hanging up? Running away like a rat?" I had to chuckle at how cheeky and persistent he was, so I said, "Alright then, just tell me what this is about quickly, I’m a bit busy." He launched into his sales pitch about Windows, but I cut him off saying, "I’ve never had a Windows computer, so this is pointless," and he immediately hung up.11 yearsI chose not to pick up.11 yearsAt about 9:50 in the morning on November 2nd, 2015, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent claiming there were lots of problems with my Windows system. I asked his name and he said something like Roberts, which sounded off given his accent. I told him I don’t even use Windows. He seemed taken aback and asked what system I did have. I refused to answer and firmly told him to just hang up and never call me again. He ended the call straight away. Pretty clear to me it was a dodgy scam attempt.
