i've been getting loads of calls this week from people claiming to be from 'talktalk' but they're definitely not legit. some asian guys telling me my router is hacked or slow and asking me to turn on my laptop so they can "check" it out. funny thing is, i actually work in cybersecurity so i know straight away what they're up to. like others mentioned here, they try to convince you with some so called unique customer number and all that, but as soon as you push back or ask questions, they just drop the call. total scam if you ask me.

We've been receiving calls on our home phone that stop as soon as we pick up. It's rather peculiar and a bit annoying, to be honest. I would advise against calling them back!

this number keeps ringing me multiple times daily. today when i picked up, a woman said she was from talktalk, warning that my router was under attack and messing up my internet and software. i didn't go along with what she asked since ive already fallen for a scam not long ago. theres no way this is talktalk!

didnt pick up as the number said talk talk but we dont recognise it. after seeing the reviews, im happy i didnt answer and i'll be reporting it to talk talk.

I've had three calls this week from guys speaking with an Asian accent, saying they're from TalkTalk. They wanted me to turn on my computer and follow some steps. Oddly, they already knew my TalkTalk account number and address. I asked if they could send the instructions by email instead. They said they couldn't because the lines were too busy - seemed a bit fishy. When I told the last caller he was a scammer, he swore at me and hung up straight away.

I keep receiving calls on my home phone, and every time we pick up, the line goes silent and they hang up without saying a word. Quite baffling, really!

this number has rung me six times this week, and five of those times there was nothing but silence. on the one occasion someone actually answered, the person claimed to be calling from talk talk, asking to check my account info. i told them "i’m aware you’re up to no good" and they just cut the call straight away.

I got a call from 001845782604, a guy said he was from TalkTalk and began asking for my account info. As soon as I told him I don’t share that sort of info, especially after hearing about the TalkTalk hack last week, he just hung up. I’ve already told TalkTalk about it since they’re looking into the whole thing now.
