11 yearsHad a similar call today. I played along saying my PC was ancient, like from the early 90s, running some old version of Windows that took ages to load - said it took about 4 minutes to even start up. Then once “it was ready”, I told him the internet wasn’t working and asked if he could sort it, since he claimed to be a senior tech at TalkTalk. Managed to keep him chatting for a good 15 minutes, which is way better than my last call that only went on for 8 mins.TalkTalk11 yearsThis number keeps ringing me up loads recently, and now that I’ve got caller ID, I just avoid picking up or let the answerphone take over. The calls usually kick off pretty early, around 7.50 in the morning. Reading others' comments, it looks like TalkTalk might be behind all this nuisance. Plus, my inbox is flooded with scamming emails about setting up funerals, lending money, betting offers, and all sorts of rubbish - one day I counted over 60 of them! I’m hoping TalkTalk sort this mess out quickly, or I’ll be switching to a different provider.Talktalk11 yearsRang me bright and early at half past seven, probably hoping I wasnt fully awake to think clearly. Total scammerwankers if you ask me.11 yearsI keep getting loads of calls, they hang up just after a few seconds if I don’t say anything, but the calls never seem to end. Seems like a scam, maybe connected to that recent TalkTalk data leak. It’s crazy that TalkTalk don’t seem to be doing anything about it, they should be able to track where these calls are coming from and offer some protection for our numbers instead of ignoring it! Honestly, might consider switching to a different provider. Does anyone know if the other complaints are also about TalkTalk?TalkTalk11 yearsHung up straight away; didn't leave a voicemail.11 yearsI've been getting calls all day long supposedly from Talk Talk, and it's driving me mad! They just keep ringing from first thing in the morning till late at night. Can't stand it anymore!11 yearsGot a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming my internet was running at just 70%. He asked me to switch on my laptop but I told him I was tied up. Then he said he’d call back after 6. Sounds like a total scam to me.11 yearsUsually they don’t show the number, which is super annoying. Been getting loads of calls, really starting to get on my nerves. They keep saying it’s from Talk Talk about some computer virus.Talk Talk11 yearsGot a call from them, and surprisingly, they were quite polite! Didn’t say my name or anything, just jumped right into the scam pitch. I told the bloke it was a scam and then ended the call.11 yearsThey keep ringing me up, saying it’s Talktalk about some computer virus or something.Talktalk11 yearsWatch out, this guy tries to scam by asking for card details. Don't hand over anything or you could end up totally drained - he’ll empty your bank without you realising.11 yearsI got a call from a guy claiming he was with TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet. He spoke with a strong Indian accent and kept asking me to install some programme on my computer. I told him the connection was awful and to call me later. After that, he never phoned again!TalkTalk11 yearsSome bloke rang me up with an Indian accent, sounded proper shady.11 yearsHappened to me too, felt a bit off!11 yearsGot a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was with TalkTalk. He told me my internet and router were infected with a virus and asked me to download some kind of program to sort it out.
