Today it was some dodgy American voice pretending to be Ofcom, after yesterday it was someone acting for BT.

Got this automated call saying my IP might’ve been hacked in the last day, and to ring them back pressing 1 if I’m with BT or 2 for anyone else. Yeah, not buying it!!

Got calls from these numbers: 01423 6970786, 019493630169, 014891800571 and 010639702913. Each time, an American lady's recorded voice popped up on my voicemail, offering different choices including cutting off my internet. Weirdly, some of these numbers seemed longer than usual. They rang me 4 times in total.

Same here, got a call about 10 minutes back. It was one of those messages saying 'Press 1 to get through to BT'. Nope, not falling for that.

Right from the get-go, this phone number seemed way too long to be real. I got a message recorded as if it was from the 'OFCOM technical department', talking about 'your internet'. As soon as I realised it was bogus, I hung up and blocked the number straight away. OFCOM would never ring people up like that, no way!

Around 10 this morning, I got a call from a lady with an English accent saying there’s a problem with my landline. She said it might mess with my IT stuff too and told me to ring BT on the number she gave me or else they’d cut the line off in a day. Felt a bit off to me.
