this number just cost me a quid plus a bit for like a 4 second missed call return. totally not worth it.

I tried to leave a voicemail for a local number starting with 01242, but it looks like my call got rerouted to 0018056377243. Now I’m getting charged for calling that number at the same date and time, even though I never dialled it directly or had any idea who it belonged to. Pretty sure it’s nothing to do with my neighbourhood handyman either.
