Back on 14/09/2017, I got a call from someone with a pretty clear English accent claiming to be with BT, warning that my computer had some kind of problem. I told him he was having a laugh, and he just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from BT in America, asking me to get on my computer. When I asked for my name and address, he had no clue what they were. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying he was from the fraud team, telling me I’d lost money to a scam. The guy said his name was James Coleman and said he could sort out a refund for me. Totally sounded fishy to me.

A guy with an Indian accent rang up saying he was from BT. He asked us to enter a 14 digit code he provided into our computer but we refused to do that.

Someone rang me saying they were with the BT technical team and that my internet was having issues.

Got a call from someone who said they were from BT tech support, but he had a really strong American accent. Before he could get a word in, I told him I’m on the TPS list and he just said alright and then hung up. Definitely not a legit BT person!
