Phone number ☎️ 0017014778975 👆 is reported as a persistent scam call mostly from men claiming to be from Windows technical support, often with Indian or Asian accents. They stress fake computer problems, accuse victims of crimes, and use fear tactics to try and get access. Callers can be rude, abusive, and refuse to give contact details. They try to confuse people into installing malware or paying for fake fixes. Many refuse to hang up and call repeatedly despite being told off. Victims often find their tactics clumsy and rely on showing normal computer messages as false proof. Some manage to waste the scammers’ time by pretending technical knowledge or different operating systems. Typical scam behaviour includes bad language, aggressive pressure, and endless callbacks.

10 yearsI got a call from a bloke with an accent, asking for someone with my last name. When I asked “Who exactly?” he said he was with Windows tech support about my computer. I knew straight away it was a scam, so I told him I don’t own a computer. He asked if I was certain, then I joked, “If this is about my Windows, are you trying to sell me some new glass?” After that, he started mumbling stuff I couldn’t catch - probably swearing - and just hung up on me.10 yearsI just cut the call straight away.10 yearsGot a call from a guy with an Indian accent who claimed he worked for the Windows PC tech support. He told me there was some issue with my PC and offered to help sort it out. I was polite and thanked him, then he just ended the call.10 yearsThey'll pop up fake error alerts in your computer's event log, saying something like your PC is involved in illegal hacking stuff. If you ask for any real proof, they'll point to a so-called "unique" number on your machine (which actually isn't unique at all). The whole thing's a trick to get you to download malware, and afterwards, they'll try to charge you to fix the problems they caused. Don't get caught out by this scam!10 yearshad a call from a bloke, sounded indian, saying he was from windows 10 support. said my pc was blocked. only problem was i was right there using it when he called! when i asked what the call was about, he got proper nasty, started swearing at me non stop. i just chuckled and told him if he thought being rude was gonna get him anywhere. after a few minutes messing about, i played along and asked him to explain the issue with my computer. he actually got into it but was well annoyed when i told him i’d been taking the mick the whole time!10 yearsSpoke to an Indian lass who then passed me on to some rather unpleasant bloke on the tech support line. I played along for a bit before dropping the bombshell that my display was showing Linux OS. The response was a torrent of rude remarks, to which I matched with a selection of colourful Hindi phrases before hanging up on them. Another tactic I've found useful is to claim someone’s at the door, then just leave the phone dangling for around twenty minutes or so. Quite amusing, really!10 yearsGot a call from an Indian woman who passed me onto a really rude tech guy also from India. I played along for a bit, then told him my computer runs on Linux. He started shouting loads of rubbish at me, so I fired back with a few Hindi insults and hung up on those muppets. Another trick that works is saying “hold on, someone’s at the door” and then just leaving the phone off the hook for like 20 minutes. They hate that!10 yearsHad a really frustrating chat with this bloke from India. I asked a few basic tech questions and instead of helping, he got all grumpy and moaned about my computer getting locked. I didn’t bother listening anymore and just ended the call.India10 yearsclassic windows scam really - they try and make you worry about normal stuff that’s actually not a problem at all, just to trick you into downloading something dodgy.10 yearsToday I saw a missed call on my phone from this number.
