Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying my laptop or computer was hacked. I’ve had calls like this a few times now. I just thanked her for the heads-up and ended the call. Pretty sure she would’ve asked for a small payment and my IP address to “fix” the problem.

Got a call I didn’t pick up. The voicemail only picked up the last bit of a recorded message, sounded like someone with a British accent.

I got a call from this number, but the connection was really scratchy when I picked up. Then, a voice with a British accent said my name, but suddenly the call just dropped. It was pretty weird. I couldn't tell if it was just a cold caller who messed up or something else. I've never signed up for the open electoral register, so it’s unlikely they got my details from there. I always take care to only share my number when necessary, and even then, I make sure it won’t be shared with anyone else.
