I've been called again by the same number now. The previous time, the lady mentioned something about BT shares that belonged to my late wife. But this time she claimed the shares were mine. Thing is, I sold all my BT shares ages ago. Somehow, they still had my email and home address on file.

Got a call this evening from 0016316688859 about some shares that might or might not be available. The call dropped suddenly, felt really dodgy, definitely some kinda scam.

Got a call from a lady with a foreign accent who said something about my Prudential shares, claiming I was listed on the share register - which I’m definitely not. She said she could help me sell my shares to a firm that's supposedly making a takeover bid for Prudential. I played along to see where this was heading, but she ended up hanging up. I reckon they were fishing for my bank info or email, but it seemed like a really odd and roundabout way to do it!

Got a call from someone claiming to be calling all the way from New York. She was interested in buying my CENTRICA shares and asked for my email to send over some kind of contract. The price she quoted seemed way too good to be true.

A lady with an American accent rang and wanted to talk to my missus by name, which instantly felt off. When I asked who she was, she said "IM Holdings." I told her I didn't know anything about that and the call was cut off straight away. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying there was a takeover happening at I.A.G and they wanted to purchase my shares. I asked them to send it over in writing, and then suddenly they just ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from an American bloke saying he wanted to buy my Morrisons shares as part of a takeover plan to get 51% ownership. He mentioned paying anywhere from £7 to £15 per share and said he would send over a letter of intent to sign. He asked for my email address too. Since then, he’s tried ringing back but I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call on my landline from someone claiming they wanted to buy my shares due to some legal takeover stuff. The person’s English was really bad, so I ended up cutting the call short. Felt a bit suspicious and dodgy to me, quite worrying actually.

I keep gettin' calls from this number, bloke talks with an American accent. He’s really pushy, keeps harassing me about buying my late husband's shares. He even wants me to sign some non-disclosure agreement or something. Honestly, he’s way too eager and it feels like he’s just desperate to snatch up those shares.

I got a call from 0016316688859 saying I was due some dividends from shares I sold like ages ago, about six years back. The guy on the other end spoke with a kind of American twang and wouldn’t agree to send any paperwork in the post, just kept asking for my email instead. He’s called me up twice already.

I've been living in the North West part of Cumbria for about nineteen years now. On the evening of 6th August 2021, around 8:20 pm, I received a call on my UK landline. The caller was a man speaking with a British accent, using the number 0016316688859. He asked for the previous occupant by name. Once I told him that person had passed away several years ago, he just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 001631688859, a guy with a really bad American accent. He said he wanted to buy shares I supposedly own in a business that went under ages ago. He reckoned they were after the intellectual property or something like that. Pretty weird!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from SOPHEON, which I thought was odd since my late husband used to own shares there ages ago, but we were told they went bust. The lady on the phone was pretty pushy, and when I told her I wasn’t interested in talking right then and asked her to send me some paperwork through the post so I could get advice from my solicitor, she just slammed the phone down on me.
