Total scammer! I've straight up put this number on my block list for good. Though honestly, I’m guessing it’s some auto-generated number that’ll just pop up as something else soon. The BT8600 has been great for stopping these annoying calls. It spots them and blocks them from getting through unless they get past the Guardian feature - but so far, none have managed that. Just to say, I’m not affiliated with BT at all!

Got a silent call around 7.50am. Being pensioners, any early morning ring usually means something bad, like news about old family or mates, so it really wasn’t welcome. Then they rang again at about the same time. Proper annoying.

This bloke rang up claiming he was from TPS and said he’d send me some gadget to block calls from abroad for £99. I told him no way, then had a look online and my TPS registration was still active. He argued it had expired but after a bit of back and forth he just ended the call.

Got a silent call this morning at 7:55, just like last week around 8:30. They keep ringing but never say anything.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Windows Support early this morning on a Saturday, around 8am. I was proper annoyed, started shouting at the bloke with an accent, and he just ended the call. It’s crazy how these companies keep pestering us - why isn’t there anything to put a stop to it?

Got a call just like that one. We ended up chatting about where his office was - somewhere on Victoria Street in London. I asked if it was close to the Porsche showroom, just messing with him a bit. Then I switched it up and asked where he was from and why so many people with accents like his seem to get mixed up in scams.

This number rang again but I didn't answer, and once again it was just silence on the other end.

Called the number, went straight to voicemail with no one answering. Honestly, why isn’t this number blocked by the officials? Whoever is behind it needs to be stopped and charged for harassment - it’s so annoying!

This number keeps ringing me with some strange foreign voice, saying all kinds of stuff. It’s probably best to avoid sharing any details as it feels like a total scam from BT or something. Definitely a spam caller!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from 'Windows' in Cambridge but spoke with a really strong foreign accent. I played along for a bit, then told them it was a scam. The guy wasn’t happy, told me to shove off, and just hung up. Bit of a shame really.

Got a call about 12:20 from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from the TPS and asking for "Joseph". I told them it was obviously a scam and ended the call straight away. Then I popped the number on my BT block list.

Someone rang saying they were from the telephone preference service and said they could stop unwanted calls. They knew my name and address, which was a bit worrying, but when I said no to giving my credit card details, they told me they couldn’t do anything to block the nuisance calls. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone overseas claiming my computer had some dangerous virus on it and that they could sort it out. They told me to switch on my computer and then wanted to know what was showing on my screen. Just as he was about to ask me to press some keys, I said I couldn’t see the keyboard since I was working in the dark. Right after I hinted it was a scam, he ended the call straight away.

At one point, a foreign-sounding person asked if I was signed up with the telephone preference service - I told them I was. Then they wanted to know if I was getting annoying marketing calls. I replied, "I thought this was one of them!" and they just ended the call. So funny!
