0015164616008 Got a call saying it was from the "USA" - yeah, sure. Someone pretending they were contacting me on behalf of a client interested in buying Rolls Royce stock. Problem is, I don’t own any shares. They wanted to speak to my mum, who passed away back in 2013, and had an Indian accent too. Definitely a scam trying to catch me out. Didn’t share a thing and they just ended the call. Honestly, best to mess with these people and keep them hanging!

Got a call from a lady claiming she was from Vodafone, asking to talk to my mum who passed away over 14 years ago. Felt a bit odd, tbh.

Got a call claiming to be from Centrica, saying they wanted to buy shares because of some takeover news. But I know Centrica wouldn't be reaching out like that to offer buying shares. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

I got a call from 0015164616008, they were saying they wanted to buy some shares I supposedly have in an American company and claimed to be working for a private client. Something felt a bit dodgy about it, so I figured it was a scam, but I couldn’t resist stringing them along a bit.

I got a call from this number about my Vodafone shares, but the connection was really bad. The person said they’d call me back, which actually gave me the chance to look up the number first. So far, no call back from them.

Got a call out the blue from some place called "CMA Management" trying to tempt me into selling my shares at a price higher than the market rate. Seemed dodgy to me, probably one of those scams where they ask for a fee upfront. Avoided it, obviously.

Just got a ring from some outfit based in New York asking me about British Steel or Corus shares. They claimed a client was keen to snap up 51% of shares and were eager to pay me more than they were worth for mine. They asked if I was on the share register and if I was still receiving dividends. I wasn't having any of it and told them to remove me from their list. Pretty clear to me it was a con.
