I got a call from a bloke claiming my internet was about to be cut off. He said he was from BT and that hackers were trying to get into my connection. He asked if I’d given my password to anyone and wanted me to switch on my laptop and tell him the brand. Thing is, I’m actually with Sky for my internet. I hung up straight away - total scam for sure. Just a heads up, they seem to be calling from the US. Stay careful, folks!

Got loads of calls from someone claiming to be BT, saying my internet's about to get cut off. Annoying as anything.

My 83 year old mother-in-law got a call from some robot lady saying her telephone would be cut off by midday. She's got a Careline connected and was proper stressed out. We've gotta find a way to put a stop to these dodgy calls, it's not on.
