6 yearsI got a phone call from someone saying I was due a refund because of something about overpaid money. They wanted my bank details but I refused and told them to just send me a cheque instead. After I ended that call, about two hours later, the same number called again. This time the person had a foreign accent and started getting quite rude when I still wouldn’t share any details. I just kept insisting on a cheque, saying I’d believe them when it arrived.
