Some bloke called me saying he was from Windows or something, sounded fishy straight away. I threw a few questions his way and it soon became clear he was taking the mick. Told him I don’t even use Windows, and then he went off on one, started calling me all sorts of names like a right nutter. Proper scam, but also nasty and rude besides.

this week i’ve had a few phone calls from someone pretending to be 'bt tech support', saying there’s an issue with my internet. today they told me i’d filed a complaint back in january and that there’s a £200 refund waiting for me. but apparently, i need to be sat at my computer for them to sort it out! when i asked for a callback number, they just ended the call. definitely a scam.

Got a call from some guy telling me to get back to India, but I had no clue what he was on about. Never really got what the call was about or why he kept saying I should leave for India.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was Alan Smith from BT, claiming there was an internet issue on my line. He wanted me to boot up my laptop to "show" me the faults. I told him my missus had just rang BT and they said no one by that name worked there. He went quiet and hung up pretty quick after that! Total scam.

After a quiet pause, a robotic voice suddenly said "goodbye." Definitely a common scam attempt.

I managed to block the call thanks to BT Call Guardian - honestly, it’s the only thing that’s helped put an end to all these annoying calls and totally worth the money spent.

Had about seven calls today, each from a different number, all saying they were from TalkTalk. When I asked them for a callback number, they just ended the call straight away! Proper dodgy if you ask me.

I said hello a few times but got no reply at all.

Got through after ages, the person on the other end had an Indian accent and wasn’t the one I was after. When I told them I’d got the wrong number, they just hung up straight away.

On Friday 9th May 2018, around 11:10 in the morning, I picked up and all I could hear was typical call centre sounds in the background. I quickly hung up and decided to block that number straight away.

When I called out anna from talktalk in india as a scammer, she started getting really nasty and rude.
