I got in touch with Microsoft Technical Support about some trouble I was having logging into my Hotmail account. The number I called was +1425 635 2970, and it's an international line. They were supposed to help sort out my access issues.

Got a call from a US number while I’m here in the UK. The person on the line didn’t ask for anyone specifically but claimed they were calling about a billing problem. When I asked what the issue was or what it was regarding, they had no clue! Then when I asked who they wanted, they said Sally. After reading other reviews, it seems these calls are supposedly about Microsoft accounts, but I don’t even have one. Best to just ignore.

Got a ring from Microsoft Support checking up on an old support case I had. The number is real, but honestly, it's better to go through their official support website. That way, you can get in touch with the right team faster and sort things out without waiting around.

Got a ring from this number at 6:34pm on the 30th Nov 2025. Didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail. Think it could be Microsoft Support calling, since I was waiting for them, just a bit surprised about the time they chose to call.

Yes it is a Microsoft represnettaive normally calling back about a complaint or an issue you have notified them of.

I called the number thinking it was a scam, but it was actually someone from Microsoft support helping me out for real. Got my problem sorted by a proper person, not a bot or anything dodgy. Definitely a legit service, which was a relief.

Loads of folks say this number's a scam, but honestly, it seems genuine to me. When I rang them, an AI assistant answered, which felt quite official. Still, what's a bit odd is they phoned me up pretty late one night, which made me a tad suspicious.

If you’ve got a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft support, it’s usually legit only if you set up the appointment first. They don’t just ring you out of the blue. So, don’t worry if you’re expecting them, otherwise, be cautious.

I got a call back from a lady in Nigeria who said she was from Microsoft support. She was polite and tried to assist, but her tech knowledge wasn’t that great.

They keep calling but don’t say anything, sometimes the voicemail lasts for quite a while with just silence.

Without a doubt, this was a scam. I've never signed up for any Microsoft subscriptions, yet this person called me twice within a couple of hours trying to get me to renew something. Microsoft absolutely doesn't contact people like that over the phone.

I got a call from this number, and it turned out to be Microsoft Support. I’d reached out via my MS Office app because I was having some trouble. At first, they connected me with a tech on a desktop session who tried sorting the issue out but couldn’t fix it completely. Later, they called me back from this same number to set up a follow-up Tier 2 support call. So yeah, sounds legit.

It might sound a bit sketchy when you get a ring from 'Microsoft support', but this number is actually genuine. They only reach out if you’ve asked for help. I’m in IT myself and I’ve had a chat with a couple of people from this number on several occasions, and I can vouch they’re for real. They’ve sorted some issues for us before, so no worries there.

Got a call from Microsoft tech support after I asked them to ring me back. Just to be clear, this isn't one of those scams. If you get a call like this, it’s because you previously requested help regarding an issue with Microsoft stuff.

I got a call claiming to be from Microsoft saying they wanted to solve a problem I supposedly had. I did go through their site first, so I thought it was legit. The guy on the phone said the only way to sort it out was to wipe my entire computer, which I wasn’t having any of. They also tried sending me loads of links through the Microsoft chat to let them into my PC. Luckily, none of them opened at all. Not to stereotype, but the bloke’s accent sounded quite Indian - take that how you will.

We didn’t pick up since the number was unknown to us. After looking it up here, it seems to be one of those scam calls as we don’t use Microsoft at all.

Sounds like a call from Microsoft support. Usually the folks on the line don’t speak great English and seem pretty clueless about the tech stuff. It’s all just a standard routine they go through, but be prepared - it usually takes ages for any real solution, sometimes weeks.

Beware, it's Microsoft. I paid £70 to download Word, but all that showed up was versions in Dutch, German, and French. They’ve charged me but I still haven’t got the software. Very frustrating!

so, i received a call from someone claiming to be microsoft support about my windows 10 update issue. they actually fixed the problem which was great, but when i checked my phone bill later, they charged me 50 euros without any heads-up or warning! the person i spoke to said he was based in india, yet the phone number looked american which felt a bit odd. i’ve never dealt with this kind of situation with tech support calls before. is there any chance my phone provider can help sort this out? i’m honestly quite shocked!
