Got a voicemail from them, but it was an automated message telling me to contact the police. Bit strange if you ask me.

Got a call from some scammer pretending to be HMRC, warning about “filing a lawsuit”. It was a foreign sounding woman’s automated voice, repeating the same message about pressing "1 to speak to your case manager”. Complete rubbish. The genuine HMRC don’t work like this at all - it’s a total phishing attempt just trying to grab your personal and bank info. Best thing is just ignore it and definitely don’t press 1 or call back.

Yet again, I've received a call from a fraudulent operation pretending to be HMRC, alleging they're initiating legal proceedings against me. The voice on the line is some foreign-sounding automaton, monotonously repeating the same nonsense about pressing "1 to speak with a case worker". Absolute rubbish! Rest assured, actual HMRC officials are fully cognizant of this. This is definitely not their way of conducting business-it's a trick designed to snatch your personal and banking information. PLEASE, whatever you do, don’t call back! And for goodness' sake, avoid pressing 1!

Got a call from an automated voice saying it's HMRC about some money I supposedly owe. They told me to ring back on +142033896124, but when I checked, the number was actually from the US. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
