Got a voicemail from them, but it was an automated message telling me to contact the police. Bit strange if you ask me.

Got a call from some scammer pretending to be HMRC, warning about “filing a lawsuit”. It was a foreign sounding woman’s automated voice, repeating the same message about pressing "1 to speak to your case manager”. Complete rubbish. The genuine HMRC don’t work like this at all - it’s a total phishing attempt just trying to grab your personal and bank info. Best thing is just ignore it and definitely don’t press 1 or call back.

Yet another scam call pretending to be from HMRC legal, threatening to take legal action against you. It’s a robotic female voice from abroad, repeating the same rubbish about pressing “1 to speak to your case manager” - total rubbish. The genuine HMRC don’t contact people like this - this is just a trick to steal your personal info and bank details. Don’t ring them back and definitely don’t press 1!

Got a call from an automated voice saying it's HMRC about some money I supposedly owe. They told me to ring back on +142033896124, but when I checked, the number was actually from the US. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
