Just got a call like this on the same number but the person claimed to be from bt support. My mum answered and then she blocked the number straight away!

On the 2nd of May 2016, I got calls from numbers 0052525 and 001402523522, both saying they were from TalkTalk. The call centre was proper noisy and as soon as I questioned them, they just hung up straight away. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from +1 402 523522, looks like it’s that “talk talk” lot from abroad ringing me up again!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, said there was suspicious stuff found on my computer and wanted me to log in and check. I told them my PC was out of commission, so they just said thanks and goodbye. Then, weirdly, they called me three more times in the next hour but just hung up each time. The creepiest part? They already knew my address.
