They keep ringing me all the time - sometimes every day, and today I got two calls within just a few minutes after I got a bit angry with them. With my dad being unwell, I can’t just leave the phone unanswered. A while back, I actually got through to a manager who said my number would be taken off their list, but obviously that never happened. Is there a way to block these calls? It’s really starting to feel like harassment!

Got a call from a bloke with a thick foreign accent who couldn’t say my name properly. He was asking for ‘the man of the house, Mr #####’. When I said I wasn’t that person, he just told me to ‘f*** off, just f*** off’. If these are supposed to be ‘UK preferences’ calls, then this is the third time in two days they’ve rung me - getting well annoying now!

No response at all... just silence on the other end.

Got two calls in just an hour. The first was from a private number, some bloke asking for a Mr Lyons, which ain't me, and he couldn't even say the name right. Then this number called again, asking for Mr Lyons once more, so I guess it's the same person. I just told him to get lost.

Got a call from someone claiming to be "David" at "UK Preferences," but he had a strong Indian accent. When I told him I wasn't up for it, he just hung up. This is the second time they've called me today.

Phone rings, nothing for a bit, then out of nowhere this robotic voice pops up saying "goodbye" before hanging up. Feels like some automated system, maybe something like Asterisk.

It's some automated voice that takes ages to say anything, and all it does is end with a quick "bye".

I told them straight up that I don’t do cold calls, and then the person on the other end got all rude and even started insulting my family.
