Got a call telling me to press 1 because supposedly £600 was taken from my bank. I blocked the number through Plusnet straight away.

I just ignored the call and blocked it straight away. I use BT call minder - it screens any calls from people who either don’t say who they are or don’t show a number. If they do give their details, it lets you choose if you want to pick up or not. Honestly, this is definitely a scam.

Got a voicemail saying £600 had been withdrawn from our bank. Pretty worried about that.

Got a voicemail from them, sounded like a recorded pitch. Best to just block the number straight away.

Got a call with a recorded message from a woman sounding all frantic about £600 gone missing from my Visa. Told me to ring back straight away. Yeah, no thanks, I just hung up right away.
