Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, but it was a total scam. They were calling from 0012153702175, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Some con artists called me claiming to be from BT, threatening to disconnect my internet if I didn’t hand over loads of personal info. Total scam!

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying my internet would get cut off if I didn’t settle some bill immediately. I just told them to go ahead and disconnect me then. I mentioned I’m on the TPS and asked nicely for them to remove me from their list, but they refused. When I asked for her name and a callback number, she just hung up on me. Proper scammers.

I don’t think this number showed up as international, but if it was really out of the States it would’ve been dead of night over there. I let it go to voicemail to catch the message but they hung up right as it started recording.
