I've received numerous missed calls from this number while I'm here in Drogheda, Ireland. It seems like it's some sort of automated prank call, probably designed to entice you into ringing them back. Quite the cheeky ruse, if you ask me!

I've received eight calls from this number here in Kildare, Ireland. The thing is, I’m originally from Spain and I’m a customer of ya.com. It seems like they aren’t quite aware that I’m in Ireland at the moment.

I received a call from this number this evening, approximately half past seven, and it turned out to be yet another dodgy boiler room con involving European Telecom shares. The instant I mentioned it was a scam, he promptly ended the call. He introduced himself as Mark Boues and claimed he was with Miles Corporate Services, hailing from Seattle, Washington, specifically from the Logan Building on Union Street! Quite the sketchy operation, if you ask me!

Hello there! This number has been calling us for the past three weeks. Each time we pick up, it's the same Latin American gentleman inquiring about someone named Cristina Moctezuma (whatever that’s about). The first occasion, he claimed to be calling from Credial trying to sell us something ridiculous. The second time around, it was the same chap, this time saying he was from Orange. And on the latest call, guess what? Yep, you guessed it - the same guy again, now supposedly representing Yacom. Quite the persistent character, isn’t he?

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up since I've heard before it's one of those scam calls. I’ve blocked it now, though I’m sure they’ll keep ringin’ from other numbers. If you don’t have any mates or family in Texas or anywhere in the US, best just ignore it. Total pain in the neck, honestly!

Somebody rang me from this number earlier but didn't leave any voicemail. After reading all the negative reviews here, I decided it’s best to just block it.

On the 5th of June, 2008, at precisely 3:15 PM, we received a phone call at our residence in Madrid, Spain. The caller claimed, "Please hold for a moment, your call is being transferred," and this message played repeatedly-around three times, if I recall correctly. Eventually, we could hear a faint voice before the line was abruptly disconnected. If anyone knows who this might be, could you kindly drop us a line at [email protected]? Much appreciated!

We decided not to return the call, so we jumped online to discover who was behind it. It seems a bit suspicious, and we’re inclined to think it might be a scam.

I woke up to a call so early, I actually thought something was wrong with my mum or dad. This woman spoke in a calm American accent, claiming to be from “Windows tech support.” I told her straight away that she was totally mistaken and honestly, she’d already managed to spoil my morning before I’d even had a chance to get going. How on earth do they find these numbers anyway?

Some bloke picked up and claimed he was calling from Microsoft. I told him straight that wasn’t true and hung up right after.

I keep getting calls from a guy with an American accent who tells me there’s been an accident near me in the past five years. I’ve asked him to stop ringing me, but he’s still phoning several times over the last few weeks. Just today, he called me twice within an hour. It’s really starting to annoy me now.

Today, this number has pesteringly called us five times, prompting us to finally reply with “a la mierda” (which, for context, means “s**t” in Spanish). The culprit behind this unwanted nuisance is a company called YA.COM. They seem to have made it their daily routine to ring us up, often more than once a day. If only there were a method to report them properly!

So, we’re currently residing in Ireland and received a call from this number on our mobile earlier today. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to answer in time, but upon listening to the voicemail, it turned out to be someone belting out a tune! Quite odd, really. Seems like we have a persistently bothersome telemarketer or, worse, a scam artist on the loose, preying on unsuspecting English speakers from the UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the USA. I've come across numerous accounts online suggesting that the number 2102490540 is behind a whole smorgasbord of pesky cold calls. Whether it's about some fictitious computer virus, dodgy car accidents, dodgy insulation deals, so-called green energy offers, or various other scams like PPI, investment schemes, and even surveys, the list goes on! It appears that this could be a company or individuals operating from places like the US, the UK, or even India, employing automated calling systems such as predictive diallers and manipulating caller IDs using Voice-over-IP tech-so the calls surely aren’t coming from San Antonio, Texas, and definitely not from the network provider linked to that number. By the way, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) did manage to bring a company to justice back on 3rd October 2012 for similar computer virus scams. Fingers crossed the global authorities continue to collaborate effectively to bring these crooks using +12102490540 to book, ensuring their assets are seized and they face hefty fines, or ultimately shut down entirely! So, I decided to serenade them with a little ditty about cancer, expressing my hopes for their demise. (Windows Replacement Initiative?) I reside in Scotland and I must say, I'm thoroughly fed up with this incessant number ringing my phone. The number 0012102490540 pops up as International on my caller ID, and on the odd occasion that I actually pick up, it's always that automated drivel: "Hello! We’re here to inform you about the windows replacement initiative..." Like many others, my number is unlisted and I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It's become an unfortunate routine, receiving anywhere from 4 to 10 calls daily from withheld, unknown, or international numbers. I seldom pick up these calls, but whenever I do, it’s invariably nothing but spam or dodgy sales pitches!

We've received two calls from this number while I was away from home (we reside in Barcelona). The calls came in on the 8th and 17th of July. Could it be some sort of scam? Quite likely! It might be best to just ignore any response to them.
