total scam, they pretend to be from amazon. just got the name and the phone number from somewhere, nothing else legit. best to hang up immediately and block the number.

bought a gift card off amazon for a mate, but then i got about five calls from the same number. the last time, a guy named Sam left a voicemail saying i had to check the charges. feels a bit dodgy to me.

Somebody rang me saying they were from Amazon, trying to get me to put some selling software on my computer to help list stuff. I got suspicious when they mentioned I could also link it to eBay! I got in touch with Amazon afterwards, and they told me flat out it wasn’t them at all.
