Got a call today from a woman who said she was on the TPS, called herself Jennifer. She said she’d ring back next week to get my card details, but no chance she’s getting them! This number has been pestering me loads of times already.

This number keeps calling me quite a bit, and the last time it was a woman with an Asian accent who just said 'Goodbye' in a really worn-out tone. If you get a call from this same number, I’d suggest telling them straight that the caller ID looks fake, like they’re trying to cover something up. Ask them, “What else are you hiding then?” It usually rattles them a bit. Just be ready to hang up and let them vent because eventually they’ll give up using this trick.

Got a call from 001125639428, they claimed to be from TPS and were asking for my bank details. Oddly, they already knew the last 4 digits of my card! I ended up keeping them hanging for a bit, wasting their time instead.

I got a call from a woman who said she was from the TPS and needed to update my information. She already knew my name, address, and when my card expires, then she tried to get me to give her the long number on the card. I ended the call straight away, but she actually rang me back. I just didn’t pick up the second time.

Someone called me saying they were from the TPS and wanted me to renew my subscription. That’s odd because TPS is totally free! Felt a bit dodgy about it. I’ve already contacted the real TPS to report this, thinking maybe my details have been stolen or shared somewhere. I’d suggest you do the same, so TPS can hopefully take some action.

Got a call from a bloke named 'Jacob', sounded asian, claiming he was ringing from the TPS about some 'call blocking department'. Just about ten days ago, I had another call from a woman called 'Anna' (check my notes below). Honestly, this whole thing just reeks of a scam, trying to get you to pay for something the TPS actually offers for free!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who didn’t speak English very well. She claimed to be from TPS, but I wasn’t convinced and asked if someone else could speak who was easier to understand. She didn’t seem pleased with me asking that. What really freaked me out was that she already had my name, where I live, and even the expiry year on my debit card... that felt really shady!!

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming she had all my info and was trying to stop junk calls. I told her to send that in writing if she really knew everything and then I just hung up.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, definitely sounds like a call centre. They've rung me at least three times this week alone. Claimed they're from the TPS (which I don’t believe for a second) and kept insisting I won’t get any more cold calls! I never really engage in a proper chat. Now, I just answer with a quick "hello" and then leave the phone down. I can hear him shouting on the other end! Next time I think I’ll tell him the person he wants is outside in the garden... and just leave him hanging.

On 25/8/2016 I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from TPS. But here’s the weird bit - why on earth would they ring me from a 001 number, which is actually a US code? Doesn’t add up at all!

This number got me on the phone on 26th Aug 2016. The bloke said his name was Simon and claimed he could stop all those annoying nuisance calls. I just told him that his call was actually one of those nuisances and hung up. Oddly enough, right after that, my internet started acting up and I had to reset my router to get it working again. Might just be a coincidence though.

Got a call claiming to be from TPS saying my number was about to be removed from their list in a couple days. They offered to stop all unwanted calls if I just verified myself by confirming my bank card details. I put the phone down for a bit, and then this guy with an Asian accent started yelling at me, insisting I’d still get annoying calls anyway. Total scam.
