I've had a couple of rings from 0011217498297 - once around midday yesterday and again today. Looking it up on Google suggests it's probably from one of those Indian call centres pushing the typical "government grants to fix up your boiler" or "save energy with new windows" scams. I simply didn't answer and they didn't bother to leave a voicemail. Also, the caller ID seems dodgy since 001 isn't actually a proper international code.

Every time I pick up and it goes to my answerphone the caller just hangs up straight away. Pretty annoying!

This number rang me twice, once on the morning of 1st Jan 2018 and again on the 2nd. The bloke on the other end spoke really broken English and kept asking who I was. He was trying to pitch some sort of freebie, which just felt like a load of rubbish and probably a scam. Honestly, a total waste of time. I just told him off about his ‘offer’ and hung up - I'd recommend you do the same!
