Exactly what you’d expect. Some dodgy bloke just trying to sneak into your computer and nick your info. Total scammer.

I asked the bloke if he ever gets a proper sleep at night, and he just said something about my computer. Then I hit him with “Do you lot just call up and try to con people out of their cash?” There was a pause, then he just hung up. Honestly, don’t think he got what I meant at all.

I rang them back after realising it was a scam, and they actually threatened my family, it was really scary.

Lately, I’ve been getting loads of calls from numbers starting with 00. It’s happened about five times now, and none of them left any voicemail. Thankfully, my phone shows the number whenever they ring, but since they’re always unfamiliar, I just don’t pick up. I guess that’s what you call ‘once bitten, twice shy’.

Got a weird call today from some bloke trying to get into my computer. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call that seemed to come all the way from the Far East, but the guy claimed he was a Windows tech based in New York. Said my PC was flashing error codes to their HQ and he could fix it for me. Asked me to type in some commands. Total scam, watch out!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Microsoft about some problem with my PC’s server. I asked her straight away which company she was representing and why she was calling me. Instead of giving a clear reply, she just started rambling nonsense about viruses and things. Honestly, best just to cut the call and move on!
